Swiss Army Knife In Progress

A couple of weeks ago, I saw some pictures of some swiss army knives that somebody had put custom wooden handles on. They were beautiful. I’ve always been a big fan of swiss army knives, and often carry one. I decided to try it out myself.

After several false starts, here are the scales (handles) that I made. They’re made from a hardwood called purpleheart, and the cross inlay is a polymer clay.
